Solomon Islands

The Solomon Islands is an island country located in the southwestern of South Pacific (5°-12°South latitude, 155°-170°East longitude).A member of the The British Commonwealth of Nations. The capital Honiara.

There are more than 990 islands in the country, with a total land area of 28,450 square kilometers, a marine exclusive economic zone of 1.6 million square kilometers, and the forest area occupies 90% of the country.

The Solomon Islands is economically backward, which was officially became independent in 1978, and is listed as one of the most underdeveloped countries by the United Nations.

Solomon is now the main poverty alleviation of the United Nations. The port of the Central Province Special Economic Zone will be expanded. For now, the provincial government plans to establish a free trade digital as the first special economic zone in Solomon, which will be serving as a demonstration base for the development of international transfer stations.

On September 21, 2019, China and Solomon Islands established diplomatic relations , meanwhile, Solomon suspended its diplomatic relations with Taiwan Province of China.

Authorized by the Central Provincial Government of Solomon, people can develop private islands, and Solomon will provide green card passports for those who purchase private islands.

Solomon citizens can enter 131 countries around the world visa-free.
